Faculty of Building Structures, Hydro, and Environmental Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
A 4-year undergraduate program in the area of:
The Environmental Engineering program prepares students to work in enterprises, administration, planning, and design offices or consulting companies. The first three semesters of the program provide students with basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology at the university level. In addition, several engineering basic courses are offered to give students a comprehensive understanding of environmental issues. The scientific and engineering courses are complemented by social sciences and humanities subjects to broaden the study perspectives as well as prepare students for professional interaction with people. The next four semesters cover specific topics within the field of environmental engineering. The eighth semester is devoted mostly to the professional internship, working on the final project, and preparation of the B.Sc. thesis, in which students use their knowledge to analyze and find a proper solution to a given problem.
In 2018 both our programs in Environmental Engineering, BSc and MSc were accredited by the Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology and received the EURO-ACE® label which means that the programs satisfy ENAEE standards specified in the EUR-ACE Standards and Guidelines for Accreditations of Engineering Programs. EUR-ACE is the European quality label for engineering degree programs at Bachelor and Master levels and gives international value and recognition to that engineering qualifications. ENAEE (European Network for Engineering Accreditation) is the European body responsible for awarding authorization to accreditation agencies to award the EUR-ACE® label at Bachelor and Master levels to engineering programs that they have accredited.Student Ambassador: Olawale from Nigeria / Student Ambassadors / Resources / Main page - WUT International Students Office (pw.edu.pl)
