In the Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, the mathematical, scientific, computer science, and technical fundamentals for a subsequent engineering career in mechanical and plant engineering are taught. This industry is one of the largest and most important in Germany. The knowledge transfer is broad, focuses on the state of the art, and avoids a strong specialization. It is rather method-oriented and prepares the future engineer/engineer in the sense of a professional qualification for direct use in planning, development, construction, production, or sales.
The degree program offers space for specialization areas that can be selected according to personal preferences.
