Program Description
The B.A. in Special Education is designed to prepare students to become highly proficient in the delivery of instruction and services to all school-age children and adolescents with exceptionalities. Through the program, students gain knowledge and proficiencies needed in order to obtain Illinois state teaching credentials. Additionally, students will have the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass all required state exams. Students will learn effective teaching strategies, assessments, and dispositions through professional and practical experiences.
