B.A. in Business Administration
The B.A. in Business Administration offers an exceptional curriculum in management, market economy, accounting, finance, and marketing. It is a business education that combines in-class theory with real world problem solving, and a program delivered by an international faculty with top qualifications and experience in the business world.

Courses are designed for students to master the written and verbal English skills necessary for international business, and develop qualitative as well as quantitative thinking. The B.A. in Business Administration program creates business professionals that are able to manage their own career development, as well as the development of other individuals and groups.
Graduates of the B.A. in Business Administration can expect to:

Business Administration is a 2 year study program. Students have to accumulate 60 US credits (120 ECTS credits) by completing 20 courses.
The B.A. in Business Administration is offered in two distinct forms, Full time and Blended. Requirements for both programs are exactly the same.
Full-time: Study and advancement is based on classroom lectures and interactive exercises. Attendance and participation are mandatory.
7 class hours = 1 ECTS credit
42 hours = 6 ECTS/3 US credits.
Blended: Class attendance is combined with distance learning. Students use online resources and computer based methods to complete their assignments. Classes meet on Friday and Saturday. The blended B.A. in Business Administration program is especially suitable for students already in the workforce and may have full-time jobs.
2.5 class hours = 1 ECTS credit
15 hours = 6 ECTS/3 US credits.
International Experience
Studying at AAU is an unparalleled international experience! Students, faculty and staff have come from over 60 countries. Study with classmates from China, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia, and Spain, to name a few!
Study Abroad
AAU actively participates in the ERASMUS/SOCRATES exchange program with over 20 EU university partners. Additional exchanges exist with universities in North America, Australia, and Asia. These exchange programs enable students to partially complete their studies in another country. Ask your advisor for more information on what ERASMUS opportunities might apply for this program.
Internship & Mentoring
All students at AAU’s School of Business Administration are required to complete an internship credit. The business school offers assistance, advice and guidance to ensure students are able to fulfill this requirement.
Degree Awarded
Having completed all program requirements, students are conferred a Bakalář (Bc.) degree, the equivalent of a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) as stipulated by the program's accreditation by the Czech Republic Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

The B.A. in Business Administration program was re-accredited by the Czech Republic Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on October 7, 2008 (code number B6218 – 6208R133) thereby qualifying graduates to apply for master’s programs at private and public universities in the Czech Republic, other EU countries, the United States, Canada and many other countries around the world.
