    Bachelor Programs in Agricultural Engineering

    Agricultural engineering combines the disciplines of electrical, mechanical, civil and chemical engineering and applies them to agricultural processing and production. An agricultural engineer has the goal of increasing the sustainability and efficiency of agricultural techniques.

    Chile has the oldest education system in the South America. The government has always partially financed this education system making it one of the cheapest student’s lives. The leading universities are Universidad de Chile and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

    A bachelor's degree is given to students who fulfill the necessary requirements given by the college or university they are attending. The requirements include three to seven years of focus on a subject, typically referred to as a major or concentration.
