Applies disciplinary knowledge about his area of study and his profession. He is capable of learning and constantly updating himself in the contents of his profession, using investigative capacity with responsibility for social development in the work context. Evidence of information management skills and written and oral communication skills.
The graduate of the Psychology career of the Adventist University of Chile is an integral professional with a solid generalist and scientific training in the discipline, which allows him to measure and analyze psychological stages or processes, not necessarily pathological, of a person, groups, organizations, among others, according to the theoretical and practical knowledge of the discipline. Establish hypotheses and inferences of the functional and psychopathological state of a person, group, organization, or community. Organize and structure processes of diagnosis, evaluation, and intervention in the different areas of Psychology. Implement different theoretical-practical foundations that allow applying strategies of the discipline. Search, analyze, propose and develop disciplinary-oriented research projects that contribute to the needs and social problems of people, organizations, groups, and communities.
The UnACh Psychologist will obtain specific training through a Diploma with emphasis on one area of the discipline.
The graduate of the Psychology career of the UnACh, is trained to work in different occupational areas of the discipline: Clinical (child, adult, and group), Educational, Labor-Organizational, and Community Social, either in the public or private fields.
