Introduction
Construction is a field of study that allows you to gain specialist knowledge about building materials and products as well as technologies for the implementation of buildings and structures. Training on a practical profile requires learning and creative work in the field of design, construction and renovation of building facilities and engineering structures. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the graduate will acquire skills in supervising and managing the investment process, costing construction works with the use of modern computer programs. The education covering the basics of structure calculations allows him to flexibly adapt to the constantly changing requirements and progress in the design methods of all types of structures.
First-cycle studies end with the defense of the thesis, and the graduate obtains a construction engineer diploma. Pursuant to the "Building Law" act, a graduate has an education which allows to apply for a building qualification (to a limited extent). The graduate is prepared to manage the execution of all types of construction facilities, participate in the design of public utility, industrial and communication facilities, organize the production of construction elements and supervise construction work.
