Jerash University was founded in 1993, and is considered as the first private University established north of Jordan. It is located 40km north of Amman, Capital of Jordan. Jerash University Consists of ten faculties providing over 26 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs, all accredit by the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan. Jerash University is a member of the International Association of Universities, Federation of the universities of the Islamic Word, Union Arab Universities and Association of Arab Private Institutions of Higher Education.

Jerash University ensures to provide high quality education, and is keen to conduct an outstanding level of scientific research in basic and applied sciences. Jerash University is a national university contributing in the development of the community by delivering specialists and highly qualified graduates able to compete and meet the growing needs of the labor market.

Bachelor in Computer Networks (CN) The Computer Networks (CN) department was established in the academic year 2011/2012, offering bachelor degree of computer networks; which is one of the most growing information technology disciplines, especially after the rapid advancement of Internet and mobile technologies. This program covers a range of intensive courses which are designed according to international standards to qualify graduates in new and advanced fields of networks and communication, such as mobile computing, network management, network QoS, network security, secure network programming and information exchange privacy. In addition, students of this program will gain a solid background in computer science benefiting a set of courses such as computer programming fundamentals, computer design and architecture, database systems, and software engineering. The program aims to produce highly qualified network and security scientists that are capable of pursuing careers related to the design, development, maintenance, and security of the wired and wireless computer networking. Graduates of this program will be qualified to achieve international certifications from Cisco such as (CCNA, CCNA-Security, and CCNA-Wireless). [-]

Bachelor in Computer Science (CS) The Computer Science (CS) department was established in the academic year 2000/2001, providing a bachelor degree in Computer Science (CS). The aim was to prepare graduates to engage in the community and actively participate in the development and improvement of the IT sector. The CS program is designed to provide students with a solid background and deep understanding in a wide range of areas starting from theoretical studies of software engineering (performance analysis, human factors, and software development tools) to the very practical development of software applications. Major areas within the computer science program include programming languages, algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, database systems, and theory of computation. Graduates of the computer science program are well prepared for advanced studies, problem-solving skills, and have wide applicability in academic and in industrial settings. [-]
