An Innovative Education: International, Intercultural, Interdisciplinary

It is our goal to offer a challenging, innovative and practice-oriented education that advances the academic, culural and linguistic potential of our students. A good teacher-to-student and staff-to-student ratio allows for individual support and close counseling of all students in academic and daily-life matters.

Internationality and Interculturality are the main pillars of our educational model. These aspects are implemented in teaching and research. The language of instruction in all study programs is English. Additionally, in order to further advance international career opportunities, language courses are offered as elective courses. As a central component of all study programs general-skills training in areas such as presentation skills, self-organization as well as business plan and concept development are also included.

Intercultural Dialog

In addition to providing excellent learning and teaching environments, BAU International Berlin recently founded a "Center for Intercultural Dialog" to develop and conduct educational and cultural projects with various cultural institutions, such as museums and galeries. The center aims to enhance and expand intercultural aspects and issues to the broader public. Various acitivites, such as concerts, exhibitions, lectures and excursions are organized by the center in order to promote a better understanding and dialogs among different cultures. The projects and activities of the center are of local, transregional and international character. Especially German schools, students of the secondary education and their teachers are one main target group of the center’s projects and activities.
