The program emphasizes process, real-world community projects, and skill-building toward a final self-directed project in the senior year. Entrepreneurial Studies is an interdisciplinary major that focuses on the tools needed to start a new business, manage a small business, expand a family business, lead innovation efforts in a corporate environment, or become an effective manager in a fast-growing enterprise.Services are offered to both men and women, including projects that offer professional consulting and student support to assist local businesses. As part of the business core, students take upper-division business requirements, including Introduction to Marketing, Managing Organizational Behavior, Business Finance, Management Information Systems, and Operations Management.
