The study of tourism and hospitality can cover the business aspects of both the tourism industry and the hospitality industry. Some programs may focus on international aspects of the industry, which can increase a student’s prospects for career choices.

The two most famous (and oldest) universities are Oxford and Cambridge (often referred to as Oxbridge by many Britons). A bachelor's degree is given to students who fulfill the necessary requirements given by the college or university they are attending. The requirements include three to seven years of focus on a subject, typically referred to as a major or concentration.
