The program-specific competences acquired by students are understanding the historical context and current political processes at European level, knowledge of the processes of internal EU policies through policy analysis, process and substantive knowledge of the EU’s external action, including of EU diplomacy and European security and defence policy, understanding the dynamics of economic integration and the functioning of companies in the European as well as global market, mastering the EU’s role in global economy and development cooperation, knowledge of the negotiations on the financial perspectives of the EU, mastering the analysis and interpretation of EU (member states’) public opinion.
