The Bachelor of Psychology places a strong emphasis on students being actively engaged in current research being conducted in the Department of Psychology. The Department hosts a series of seminars each year that are presented by national and international experts who provide the most current knowledge and research activity in various fields of psychology. Completion of the Bachelor of Psychology is the first step in undertaking studies to complete a Master of Psychology (Clinical) or Doctor of Psychology (Clinical). Entry Requirements for the Level 4 program Entry requirements for the Pass program is to all students who have satisfactorily completed Levels 1-3. The Honours program is by invitation to those students who demonstrate high academic performance at Level 1-3. Entry requirements for the Honours program are a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (Credit average) across the compulsory Level 2 psychology subjects and a minimum GPA of 6 (Distinction average) across five Level 3 psychology subjects including the Level 3 core subject. Entry to the Level 4 program is also available on a case by case basis for students who completed a 3 year year undergraduate program in psychology at an external institution. [-]
