Our studio teachers are among the finest musicians and teachers in Southern California. The classes are small and your teachers will know you as a person, not just as a name on a class roster. Whether music is your major or you just have an interest in music, everyone is encouraged to participate in the diverse, musical environment found on campus. At Redlands you can perform in: Wind Ensemble Symphonic Band University Orchestra University Choir Bel Canto Chapel Singers Opera Workshop Studio Big Band Percussion Ensemble Guitar Ensembles Jazz Improvisation Ensemble A variety of academic scholarships are available at the University of Redlands. In addition, the School of Music offers music scholarships for those majoring or minoring in music. The office of Student Financial Services offers financial assistance to more than 80 percent of the student body. Assistance can be in the form of grants, loans and work-study.
