In addition, the School of Music offers music scholarships for those majoring or minoring in music. Admission Requirements The admission requirements for the Bachelor of Music degree programs vary based on each emphasis. How to Apply for Admission Applicants who are ready to apply to LACM will need to complete an Admissions Application through DecisionDesk. Applicants will need to request their official high school, GED, or college transcripts from their granting institution and have them sent to LACM. TOEFL Scores, for International Students, will also need to be sent to LACM. All applicants will submit a $50 application fee when the application is complete. Transfer Credit Students applying to a Bachelor of Music Degree program may be eligible for Transfer Credit; we do not accept transfer credit for our Associate of Arts and Diploma programs. However, Bachelor of Music applicants may transfer in general education credits. LACM will determine the transferability of coursework taken at other institutions and provide transfer credit evaluations for LACM students. Students may be eligible to transfer in 100% of their general education requirements into the Bachelor of Music program.
