The program promotes exchanges of experience and the development of creative projects, innovative and consistent with issues such as sustainability.
Brazilian themes, such as social development and use of renewable materials, are part of the curriculum of Interior Design students. They are encouraged to research and reflect, in the search for solutions to environmental and social issues surrounding the country. Issues such as reform, revitalization and reuse of existing spaces, for example, are part of the formative line proposed by the Faculty.
AREAS OF INTERIOR DESIGNER
The interior designer elaborates various spaces projects such as residences, shops, exhibitions, restaurants, offices and hotels. It must always be attentive to the particularities of each environment, which vary according to the cultural, social and economic realities. The interior designer is a multidisciplinary professional, with understanding from different areas of knowledge. For this feature, it is able to manage projects integrated with the engineering, architecture, ergonomics, biology, communications and marketing.
Must meet technical, humanistic and artistic skills, being able to create great visual and emotional impact environments. With regard to sustainability, should know how to analyze and evaluate best practices for the implementation of a project. The domain business management techniques also integrates the interior designer skills.
Cultural: art history, history of design and architecture, man-object relationship, ecology, semiotics.
Technical and technological: visual language, design, computer graphics, digital imaging, imaging, materials technology, manufacturing process, models, business administration, production management, marketing.
Projetual: integrated laboratory design, product design.
Alexandre Salles is an architect and Master of Urban Semiotics, graduated from FAU-USP. Coordinates the undergraduate and graduate degree in Interior Design from the European Institute di Design - IED São Paulo.
With extensive experience in large architectural offices in São Paulo, as well as collaborations on projects and national and international competitions of architecture, founded in 2011, bunk Studio, multidisciplinary office focusing on the development of corporate projects, commercial, residential, consulting and research in design.
The educational project of the Faculty of Technology of the Istituto Europeo di Design requires professional moments when reality is experienced.
The college has an institutionalized industry that is the Internship Supervision. Thus, the student performs supervised internships where the creation of skills and planning skills, implementation and evaluation provide a real exchange between the reality and the classroom.
Mentoring is the responsibility of the supervisor of stages so that the student develops an overview of the area you want to act, beyond deselvolvimento skills aimed at behavior in the workplace and professional performance.
