The professional field The Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality is a professional trained to work in Management and Tourism Planning and Lodging Facilities as: Hospitality and Leisure; Agency and Transport; Event management; Tourism and Environment. Hospitality areas as: Gastronomy, Maritime Cruises, Hospitals, Clinics and SPAS (Hospital Hospitality), Tourism and Hospitality Consulting, and Public tourism bodies, which are expanding into fields for the occupation. In addition, this professional should have skills and expertise in human relations and should be able to: take advisory positions, consulting and entrepreneurship; act as a multiplier, planning and implementing management units. Vocation The course provides conditions for professionals to develop their creativity, strategic planning capability, and a vision of the socioeconomic and cultural reality. Curricular activities are directed to four areas emphasized in the course: Agency and Transport; Organization and Event Management; Organization of Tourism and Environment; Planning and Administration in Hospitality and Leisure. Still capable of exerting related functions in the areas of hospitality, gastronomy, cruises, hospitals, clinics and spas. It should also have the professional features, creative and reflective ability, initiative, proactivity and skills in human relations. The curriculum offers courses focused on the humanities (history, geography and Portuguese), in addition to specific areas such as tourism planning and hospitality.
