Real Entrepreneurial Skills On completion of this course you will have an increased understanding of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs and the significance of innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Course Units The Bachelor of Business consists of 24 equally weighted units. All students select one of five specialisations: Event Management, Public Relations, Travel & Tourism, Sports Business or Marketing. The degree is divided into two stages: Stage I consists of 8 units. It provides students with fundamental studies in business knowledge and skills, and introduces the foundation elements of the chosen specialisation. Stage II consists of 16 units. It builds on the content of Stage I in both depth and breadth, and includes the capstone units of Business Ventures A&B and Business Internship. A specialisation is 25% of the degree and consists of a sequence of 4 units focussed on the particular knowledge and skills of the specialisation, Creativity & Innovation in the context of the specialisation, and an Internship with a business organisation related to the specialisation.
