For the academic year 2016/2017 Ca' Foscari offers a curriculum entirely taught in English (Economics and Management) in the Bachelor's Degree Programme Business Administration and Management: L–18 (Business Administration). The Programme involves 3 years of study and provides students with knowledge of general scientific methods and contents, as well as with the opportunity to acquire the necessary professional skills. A Bachelor's Degree is awarded once students have completed all the educational activities required by the study plan, and acquired 180 university credits (ECTS). The Programme provides students with an international education and combines management and economics (theory, methods and models) with legal, mathematical and statistical subjects. Students may take part in the selection for the Atlantis Programme, allowing them to spend an academic year studying at Georgia State University (USA) and be awarded a Double Degree from both Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Georgia State University. Activities and exams The learning environment integrates classroom-based activities , workshops and internships (possibility of being placed abroad) to allow students to acquire wide-ranging skills that are readily transferable into the world of work. Both written and oral examinations will be used to assess skills acquired throughout the course of students' university career. Degree exam The degree exam consists in writing a paper/thesis, that will be evaluated through methods similar to those of a written exam but not in the presence of the student. However an oral discussion of the thesis may be requested if the supervisor considers it to be necessary. Professional Profiles The Programme provides students with the tools necessary to find employment in the European and international markets or to participate in international Master’s Programmes.
